The University of Michigan Chamber Choir and The Washington Chorus

University of Michigan Chamber Choir International Tour- Argentina
Benjamin will sing with The University of Michigan’s Chamber Choir on their International Tour in Argentina. This will be their final concert of the tour in Santa Fe. Their first concert was in Buenos Aires and their second was in La Plata.
Under the direction of Dr. Eugene Rogers, the concert will feature choral works by the Chamber Choir and solo performances by members of the Chamber Choir.
The University of Michigan Chamber Choir’s International Tour- Argentina
Benjamin will sing with The University of Michigan’s Chamber Choir on their International Tour in Argentina. This will be their first concert of the tour in Buenos Aires.
Under the direction of Dr. Eugene Rogers, the choir will sing Mendelssohn’s iconic Elijah. This concert will be presented in collaboration with The Washington Chorus, the Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil ‘José de San Martin’ (Young Adult Orchestra Saint Martin) and the Coro Nacional des Ninos (National Children’s Choir) .

Benjamin returns to the VIVACE family camp for the third year as guest conductor.
Brahms and Water Music with The Lima Symphony Orchestra and Chorus
Benjamin makes his debut as the Chorus Director of the Lima Symphony Orchestra and Chorus in their Grand Series 2 concert. Under the direction of Maestro Andrew Crust, relish in a program for kings and queens. Benjamin will conduct the chorus and orchestra in one of Handel’s iconic Coronation Anthems.

Gershwin and the American Sound- The Lima Symphony Orchestra and Concert
In their final concert of the 2024-2025 season, the Lima Symphony Chorus, prepared by Benjamin Gaughran, join forces with the Lima Symphony Orchestra to perform a concert of American music. Maestro Crust will lead the forces through a thrilling night of music. Benjamin will conduct “Stomp Your Foot” from The Tender Land by Aaron Copland.

University of Michigan Women's Glee Club International Tour- St. Columba’s Church of Ireland
Join Benjamin and the University of Michigan Women’s Glee Club at the third and final concert of their 2024 International Tour of Ireland. The choir will sing in the stunning setting of St. Columba’s Church of Ireland for an afternoon concert at 1:30pm GMT. Program to include works by Alice Parker, Elaine Hagenberg and the UK Premiere of ‘Hope is the Thing’ by British composer Barbara Cobham.
The concert is co-conducted by Dr. Katherine Rohwer.

In June 2024, the Michigan Chamber Choir will tour Washington, DC and Argentina to perform an eclectic program of choral repertoire including works by J.S. Bach, Gabriel Fauré, Felix Mendelssohn, Alberto Ginastera, U-M’s composition faculty member Kristin Kuster, and much more.

Black History Month Celebration Worship Service
Benjamin leads the Chancel Choir of the First Congregational Church of Ann Arbor in a collaboration worship service with the Chancel Choir of the First United Methodist Church, Ann Arbor and their conductor, Bryan Ijames. The worship will feature music composed by African-American composers including Nathaniel Dett and Adolphus Hailstork.
